This camouflaged prototype of the Mercedes-Benz flagship sedan was spied during its cold winter testing.
Instead of revealing the new S-Class at last year’s Paris Motor Show, Mercedes teased sculptures showing off new, smooth flowing lines. These spy-photos indicate that, thanks to camouflage along the sides of the car, that the new design is certainly on its way, but still well under wraps.
The spy photos don’t show much more of the new car. It’s likely that the same headlight design that is on the 2014 E-Class, and other new Mercedes vehicles will be on this model, and we can see the new standard LED headlights through the front-end camouflage.

Expect for the most radical changes to be on the inside, and with the tech. There will be plenty of new safety tech such as DISTRONIC PLUS with Steering Assist, which automatically helps the vehicle stay in its lane and even follow other vehicles in front in slow moving traffic.
With the Maybach line of vehicles no longer in production, the upcoming Mercedes-Benz S-Class will have up to 9 different variants, including a Pullman limo with rumors of both two-door and four-door coupes.
